I know how to fix my computer… just not sure if it’s worth it for a late 06 MacBook Pro. Need a new cord and a new I/O board.
I’ll just have to get to the place where I can buy a new one (a new used one)
It can get discouraging. Sometimes in life it’s like when you fix one thing then another breaks. Today my computer stopped charging - that’s bad news when your income comes through that. Today the exterior fan on our heating and air system broke.
Here’s a reminder though: my worst days are someone’s best days.
Here’s My Problem
I’d say I’m addicted to web design. When it’s going good, looking good, and feeling good, I don’t want to stop. I’ll push through sleepiness, hunger, bathroom breaks, etc. The day holds so many distractions that first hours of the morning have become most productive. I find myself awake when the sun rises.
I need to learn how to get up in the morning, not go to sleep. To swing my productivity from prior to bed to being tapped into as soon as my feet hit the floor.
Idk how long this question has been in my ask, but I just happened to go in and see this. Sorry if you’ve been waiting a few years!
First, I don’t have all the knowledge (something I’ll explain in greater detail later), but I do have my outlook. Proven scientific facts, not stuff that is only theory, do not conflict with the bible. Science is also something changes. I remember sometime when I was younger that a new discovery was made about mountain formation was made and textbooks were then outdated in that area. It is believed in science that dinosaurs were extinct before man. I actually believe that isn’t true. I also do not believe in a ‘literal’ 6 day creation. The word day is also translated in other places of the bible to mean age or period of time.
On the subject of knowledge I mentioned earlier. My faith isn’t based solely upon knowledge. Knowledge is not a limiting factor. For example, I can plant a seed and it’ll come up. I have no clue what goes on. I know it germinates but beyond knowing that word it’s a bit of a mystery as to the specifics. Even though I don’t know how, the seed still comes up. Some things are just mysteries that we’ll one day understand.

This Actually Really Irritates Me
The person who reblogged this from me said it was funny but slightly blasphemous.
I intend no offense to the one who reblogged me
but
this sort of thing actually really irritates me. First, the word blasphemy… people throw that around without knowing what it even means.
Second, religion makes Jesus out to be this really serious middle aged white business man. It portrays God as this serious, humorless entity. What happens is people think they have to be extra serious with God and when they think they have to use special religious words in order to talk to him. They think prayer is “Oh gracious and heavenly Father, I commeth to you asking thine blah blah blah”. I use ordinary words with God such as “Hey I’m having a hard time, help me keep the strength”. Religion tells you that you’ve got to get on your knees to pray; I pray walking around, or driving down the road (you don’t have to close your eyes to pray, by the way), while I’m on the toilet, while I’m taking the shower. When I in a church ministering I use real words such as “God is like ‘Really, dudes?’” I’ve had religiousy people get offended at me about that in some places. Oh well, they’ll just have to deal with it I guess.
If you’re reading this and you’re not a Christian, do know it isn’t about following all these rules and putting on a suit to go to church and being all serious. I go to church in cutoffs, teeshirts, in my Toms or Pumas, my bible doesn’t have a single ye or thou in it. My church plays rock and rap before church (yeah, there is rock and rap that is cool and isn’t all about sex, drugs, and cuttin people), our music isn’t some out of some hymnal that everyone has sang though so much they’ve memorized it. AND I DON’T FOLLOW THE OLD COVENANT LAW OR BELIEVE TATTOOS ARE NECESSARILY EVIL. =D
